The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread
I have 17x7s, wondering what sidewall size would make the rims look snug fit. Right now its 215/40/17 and they look horrible

It's on RB 1 inch lowering springs also.

Running larger tires to fill out the gap is dumb and will hurt your performance. Smaller tires give you a performance boost though due to lower gearing and a lower CG height for better cornering. Taller tires also will increase the chances of rubbing.
thx Black91n/a...i was hoping with widen fenders both front and rear they would work, but with a wide body, i'm not really feeling it. Dam, i really love those 3 piece work meisters...lol

ok, I read the first 6 pages... and well here's my question
I want 17x ? with 255/40/17 tires
what width rim and offset do I need to fit front and back? And I still want to lower my 88 vert an inch or so.

i'm wanting to run 17x8 or 18x8 in the front and 17x9 or 18x9 in the rear and i wanted a lip on the front and a bigger lip in the back but i'm not sure what offset to use and if the 17 or 18 inch would fit better could anyone help
9 +30 in the back would fit, in the front, it will probably rub and extend past the fender at the same time.
There are ways to fit a 9 in the front, i'm sure others will elaborate.

You'll need 25mm/50mm rear fenders.
I've seen an 18x11 -7 in the front on an FC with just 25mm fenders.
We sell 40mm front fenders. new item!

I was hoping not to have to roll the back. I suppose I can get them and just find out.
thanks
Well... I guess it's just a matter of using different tire size, the wheels I'm looking to purchase already come with those tires.
Obviously with an ofset that low fender rolling is a must, I was just curious about the tire fitment. I should have been more specific, I'm riding on Teins SS and Mazdatrix Camber Adjuster BTW.
