is my steering wheel straight/alignment?
Hey guys, i have a s4 t2. I have done a few alignments at school about 5 years ago, so I know what the angles are and how to adjust them.
BUT I was curious on how you know your steering wheel is center? After putting my aftermarket wheel on, im not sure if I have it in the right place.
2nd, when I do my alignment, if i have my steering wheel offcenter, its just going to align it straight to where I set my steering wheel?
Im asking because I want to try setting my toe using tape measure in front and in rear of my tires, but I'm not sure how to tell where my steering wheel is straight. I dont want to pay for a full alignment yet because I am waiting on my camber adjustments. Also I just bent my tie rod end, and I'm going to install it. I want it as close to proper alignment because I need to drive the car ,and I wont have time untill the weekend.
Does anyone have a writeup on doing garage alignments to get me in the ballpark range? Thanks for hte help
