most capable chassis

was wondering which of the three rx7 generations was the most capable handling? and if with racing mods required what would they be?

The FD has the best suspension design.

Its hard to say what exactly is the most capable because you would have to try to match things evenely. for instance you might have to do somthing like this:

Make sure the cars have the same power..
have urathane bushings
tires that are the same size
lighten all the cars as far as they will go
bleh bleh bleh

then put them on a track with the same driver..

then finally we can maybe see whats better under these similar conditions.

if you went stock vs stock vs stock.. then it would be the fd easily.
