Is this enough clearance?

im wondering if this is enough clearance between my coilovers and tires, they dont seem to rub, but their close enough for me to look into. Should I get 5mm spacer?

if its not rubbing now, it shouldnt ever rub unless you bend something or change tire size.

I can't tell from the picture but you have to account for sidewall and wheel deflection. So you should have about 3mm of clearance with some pretty decent tire pressures. Slightly above average.

Yeah, it's hard to tell what exactly is in the pic...
...but, if that's the top part of the tire / wheel, the tire deflection is minimal.
If it's not touching now, I doubt it'll touch while you're driving.

i'll take a better pic tomorrow. its mostly the top part of the tire. im just worried about driving it hard, i do plan to track it again. and wondering if i should get 5mm spacers just to be on the safe side.

you could just for peace of mind, just because 5mm spacers are way cheap.

As long as you run longer studs for the lug nuts, you'll be OK.

dude.. no problems there. I think I run a little closer then that and I have no problems. I cant even fit my little finger in between the shock on the tire.
