I have a 95 rhd fd, and everything is spotless...except for the master brake cylinder / booster / fittings. It is weeping from a few of the fittings, and the interface between the master and the booster.
Question is, never having touched this part before, suggestion? Pull off, clean, re-fit? Replace master completely? Clean off all the parts and watch for possible single source?
My fluid is spotless, and the level has not budged in five years. I am removing all the calipers to powder coat, so would think this is a good time to mess with the master / booster.
What about 'air trapped in abs' concern, saw it mentioned in another thread regarding bleeding and caliper removal.
Took best shots I could to show the weeping / sweating.
visibly wet, hardline going under master, appears to be the source of the wetting underneath as well. hardline that is visibly wet can see the sweating at the brake booster interface brake booster to master sweating fitting on firewall just to the right of booster, clutch? also appears to be sweating a bit.
