looking for an S03 upgrade...

Well, it's time to change tires again, and I'm looking to get something different. I'm currently running S03's on my car but am wondering if there is any street tire that is better. I will consider the BF goodrich KD G-force, or even the toyo t1-s. Anyone tried all three of these tires? Anything better for street than the s03?

I'd go for some Falken FK451's, they're a lot cheaper than S03's and might even be better. Who knows?

If I had to use one tire it would prolly be the T1-S. Almost all of the Speed Gt cars use them. But thats just because I dont cair about wet perfomance. I have to say that SO-3 are alot better in the wet and have a little longer life.

Speed GT switched to the Toyo RA1 R-compound for this season. Previously they used the T1-S shaved down to I believe 4/32 tread depth. Besides, the reason they're the spec tire because Toyo pays SCCA.

Initial impressions of the Pirelli PZero Nero have thus far been very favorable, they're a bit cheaper than the S-03 also.

Victor,

Let me know if you want those Toyos. I'll hook you up at our price. Just let me know. We're pretty deep on Toyo.

Peace, Rishie

Yea, I PM'd & e-mailed Rishie to....

I finally gave up and orderd some S03's from Costco.

I was shocked at how cheap they were with mounting balancing and hazzard insurance. Also this month $60 off a set of 4. I'm sure Rishie would beat their price, but much less hastle.

Next set will be TS1's. Hopefully from Rishie.

Costco in Southlake, TX is $190.99 each, this is on the car with a road hazzard warranty, plus for the next 2 weeks you get $60 off set of 4. Size is 245/45/16.
Tire rack was $721 set of 4 shipped. I can't remember if the costco price includes sales tax or not.

edit:I should get them next week. They have to special order for u.
