Just bought rb springs,a few questions

I just bought some rb springs from a rx7 club member. Will the shop installing them have to remove the oem shocks to change them? Also ,how do you know if the rubber bump stops are worn ? my car has 14,000 miles on it .

yes shocks must come off.

no, if your car has 14k on the chassis, the rubber will be fine and does not need replacing unless u left your car in the sun for the past 11 years. u can easily see the rubber and the shocks in the rear wheel well, go take a look at them.

Well, what are the odds that my front tires will rub the fender?Right now i got 2 fingers clearance with my 235x40x18 on the top of the tire and both sides, with my oem springs and shocks.

You might be ok with the 235's, but the problem with the RB springs is that they aren't stiff enough to prevent rubbing.

If the fronts rub,i will put the oem springs back on and use the rbs in the back.I wanted to lower the back more than the front anyway.
