incubu,

try to search for the thread about the spacers for the JIC, there is some contact info in that thread. I had to buy my spacer as I also bought the JIC second hand.

They maybe able to sell you a set of wrenches.

There's nothing special about a wrench for coilover perches and they're not hard to find.

Summit Racing #HAL-T114W for $17:

or you go to Racerparts Wholesale and get the "trick" Longacre wrench if you must spend money #22589 for $35.99:

If you have smaller diameter perches you use this one for Penskes #22587 $61.99:

or you can go on ebay and spend $10: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7922597805

should I keep looking? As with anything use the proper tool for the job and it will be easier and probably not chew things up either.

Keep in mind you will need two spanner wrenches to adjust the JICs since there are two collars below the sprins that tighten into each other.

Damon,

is there a size measurement for those? I can measure mine and post the measurements for him. (there are two size wrenchs as Rated R1 stated)

The collars are for the most part a pretty standard size since they all use 2.5" diameter springs. A slight difference in diameters of the two collars won't make the wrench useless as all you're really doing is pulling on the "tooth" of the perch to make it rotate. The fact that the wrench isn't the exact same diameter as the collar doesn't matter. Look closely and you'll see that the wrenches are not a semi-circle; they open up towards the handle end.

The first wrench from Summit has a pivot in the middle so it will self adjust to any size if that's a concern. That's the one I would buy if I had no idea what would work. The $10 ebay one looks good too. Buy a pair of them for $20.

wow i didnt kno that companies sold them sep. lol thanks!

ive seen some of the posts about the JIC-FLT2 ones going up too high and having issues w the hood. see the thing is... im not sure what kind mine are. i know that they are JDM and used. lol. but they ripped the stickers off as to what kind they are. i can tell you that the coils are black and same w the bottom part while everything else is silver/aluminum.

my friend has some tein wrenches and i was thinking about putting my coilovers on today and then just going to his place to adjust them. again thanks for all the help!
