Angry Problems after engine rebuild. PLEASE HELP!

So I purchased an rx7 from a buddy of mine who got it imported into the country of georgia. Got new wheels for it, and bunch of other things. The jdm rx7 hit 103,000km recenetly, So me and my buddy decided it was past due for a rebuild considering it started overheating from time to time.
So we purchased a kit from japan. An OEM rebuild kit. Considering my car is basically stock except for intercooler, full exhaust and intake. I don't even have a boost controller setup because i was going to wait until i rebuilt the engine.

Finally got the engine finished up, dropped it back in the car, got it idling fine. But i seem to have a problem with the car after it warms up and i try to drive it. It wont let me go over 4500-5000 rpms, it cuts out and putts, so i have to let off the gas. We have tested all different sensors with my friends sensors from his rx7, we changed the spark plugs, coil packs, Check for boost leaks, We even tried different fuel pumps even though we knew that wouldn't be the problem. Maybe we didn't connect a connector correctly somewhere? From the pictures we have its kind of hard to tell which color goes where. Unfortunately there is only about 5 RX7's in this country (georgia) (and only 3 of them work) so we are extremely limited to resources. I don't have an apexi pfc at the moment for my car which some people said that would help find my problem or at least help diagnose the car. We have double checked almost everything!
Im hoping some of you die hard rotary guys could help me with my problem....I really love everything about the rotary but this is starting to get really annoying and frustrating.

I recommend going to the Factory Service Manual and trouble-shoot. Your description isn't very helpful. If it won't go past a certain rpm the first thing that comes to mind is the throttle position sensor or timing issue.
BTW, you need a boost controller with those mods or risk boost spike on a stock ECU. Depending on exactly what a "full exhaust" means you may also need to port the wastegate or introduce some restriction back in to the exhaust to avoid boost creep. Either spike or creep can cause a lean condition and damage the engine.

Ok I'll setup my boost controller then. I just thought since it was running fine before the rebuild without it that I didn't really need it.
Full exhaust as in downpipe all the way to the muffler. It has an electronic cutout button for the exhaust but it's not working for some reason. It came from Japan like this.
I can try to post a video if it will help with description or I can personally email a video.
