Ground Control Coilover Conversion Install
So I am installing the Ground Control coilover conversion kit on my 93 RX7. The previous owner installed Koni yellows with Eibach springs. I am installing the coilover conversion on the Koni yellows. In the instructions that were included with the kit, there is a picture that says to reuse the factory bump stops. The problem is I don't see anything that looks like that on the shock.
Am I missing the bump stop? If so is it ok to install without it?

So installed the coilover kit on the front and rear shocks. Longer spring is on the rear shock. I don't see any stock pieces that look like they can be reused. The factory bump stop is too wide.
Also, the ride height is maxed out and the rear spring barely gets seated and the front spring is still about an inch from the top. Does that seem right?
Does it look like I have these things assembled right?

I didn't use the stock bump stop on my setup either. What's the length and rating of the Eibach spring you are using? It should be stamp on the springs (ie 0700.225.0400). The higher of the rating should be up front and the lower in the rear. I had 550lb front and 400lb rear, which is about the same F/R ratio of my stock R1, but alot stiffer.
The springs are suppose to be loose, they will be seated once the shock is compressed when you have the car on the ground. The way you have it setup at the very top, you'll have a very high ride height. I can't remember exactly where I had the seat ring, but I remember I started at the middle and then adjusted ride height from there. I ended up with a ~25.5" ride height at all four corners.

Yes I have the 550 and 400 springs as well. I am concerned about the bump stops, but I hate to spend $300 to get new ones and then cut them up. Is anyone else running without bump stops? I am planning to track the car so I do want to do this right.

The only bump stops I am aware of them having. If you have any questions just call Ground Control and speak to Mark. He is extremely helpful and will steer you in the right direction.

I believe these are the bump stops I am using on my GC/Koni setup.

Similar to yours except for the spring- I am using 700front/550rear.
