Brake Kits that fit under OEM 16s?
Can someone recommend a BBK that would fit a the OEM 16" wheel? Or does that not exist because of the size limitation of the 16?
I'm looking to replace my OEM brakes (don't trust them anymore) and hope to do some track days soon. Am I better off rebuilding?
TIA

Mostly a street driven car? If you only track the car a few weekends of the year I wouldn't even bother with a bbk. Get some good rotors, pads and fluid. . .the oem brakes are more than capable. . .
Stock brakes are good, but if there are some fast sections and you brake pretty hard, you can run out of brake.
Depends on the road surface (if the track has a low or high grip surface), and the tire too. Tires are 50% of the brakes.
The FD is not a "brake challenged" car nor a heavy car. Disk and pad technology has come a long way today from what it was. There are a lot of options out there now.
99 Spec calipers are a good upgrade from the factory US brakes. 32 mm thick disks are nice plus. Keep the pads cheap by keeping the factory FD pad shape. Eliminate messing with the ABS or Bias and still have great braking.
