Which front sway bar for my setup?

Looking to get a beefier front sway bar. I currently have zeal coilovers and am running 18 inch rims.

Which bar would compliment my setup? Do I need to replace the sway bar mounts when adding a stiffer bar?

No one can give you accurate info until you tell us what car you have.

Please let's open this up again. I am having second doubts on this rb sway bar for my fd.

After doing some research on the old sites, My concern is that it's too aggressive. It's by far the thickest and stiffest thing out there. I also don't like the added weight of the solid bar.

Will this bar rob the indepence of the front suspension? What are my options other than tripoint. The tripoint Is expensive and overkill for my application. also one of the drivers in doing this upgrade is that I want to use the wide foot mount as I need to raise the ground clearance. This actually the biggest reason why I am doing this upgrade. The car drives nice as is. I am getting some scraping in minor dips in the rd.

It seems to me there aren't many options out there. I have searched but most posts are old and the bars are not available anymore.

Ideally I would like if someone can chime in that has the rb solid bar and provide a review. I'd also enjoy some suggestions on other bars that are available.

Thanks.

What is the problem with your car currently which makes you think you need a front sway bar? do you have problems oversteering or understeering? What are you wanting more from your car?

Car is lowered and bottoming out on the stock sway bar. So I am putting the wide foot mounts on to raise the bar. I figured while I am down there I mind as well upgrade the bar.

sway bars transition weight back and forth quicker, but its at the expense of ultimate grip. Are you willing to lose some grip for transition handling?

It might also throw off the balance of the car a little if you only upgrade the front. I think the stock bars are pretty thick to begin with, but that is just my opinion.

It seems like most recommend upgrading the front only.

Yeah I guess that's the point. I am willing to stiffen up the front a bit but 97% stiffer(rb bar) sounds like a lot.

The suspension is a system. Spring rates, dampening, ride height, tires, sway bars, bushings, etc. all work together. Howard Coleman has a good thread on the subject.

Great thread. Tks for sharing

Can someone point me in the right direction to check out other bars than rb or tripoint? I am not sure what's still available.
