FD Rear 315/30r18's!!!
Most people probably wonder how wide of a tire can the stock rear fender hold. Well, with the right offsett and just a fender roll I was able to tuck 315's at the rear. Nice, clean, and easy.......pics and specs up soon.
Its pricey to buy wide tires and not have em fit without excessive mods, so hope this information helps out!

I believe that having an extra .5" of rim width with a 7.5" backspacing may throw the fitment off either to the outside or inside depending on the rim build. I'm no expert, but the specs off my LM's worked though.

Right, offset is the key to centering the tire between the fender and unibody.
the 7.5" backspace on 11" wide rim gives you a 38 offset which means you will foul the fender lip 6mm more than the 7.5" backspace on the 10.5" rim (44 offset) with the same size tire.
You would be limited to 305 on the 11" +38 rim in order to have to do the same amount of work the op did to fit his 315 on his 10.5" +44.
I just went to 18x10.5 +38 all around (because it is hard to find higher offset wider monoblocks) and am limited to 265/35-18 on the rear with stock fenders and 1.3 deg neg camber as it just barely rubs the lettering on the sidewall on compression.
With my +38 offset and 1.3 deg neg camber rolling the 18mm rear fender lip completely under or cutting it off would fit a 295 and anything beyond that will require some pull on the fender as well and or more negative camber.

It's great to see someone stuff some wide tires under an FD. I have a few questions:
1. Any rubbing under cornering?
2. Any rubbing under bumps?
3. Spring rates?
4. Sways?
5. Inner clearance?
6. Ride height?
Thanks,
Andrew

275/35r18 in the front. Slight rubbing at the front lower control arm (rub area was shaved with a dremel)
Suspension are Pettit Trackpro stage III front spring 12kg/rear10kg
There's about 1" of clearance between fender and tire. Inside clearance between trailing arm is 1/4". This seems more fuctional when driving on the streets. Sways bars are just regular Racing Beats...No rubbing when going over speed bumps or going in and out of drive ways.
Haven't measured the height yet....

295's will not be stretched on a 10.5" width wheel. My previous tires were 285's and it was square. The 315's are pretty squared as well.
The only way to find out....is to simply try

The RT-615's in that size is about 15mm narrower than marked. Yes, they are known for running a bit small in tread width compared to similarly matched tires. So in other words, they're actually not 315. Not to rain on your party, but just enlightening.

Any useful information are always welcome. And yes, every tire manufacture does have their own variation in tire sizing.
