FD with AVS VS-5 Rims.....anyone seen before?

Need some help with dimensions, and some pics would be nice.

Has anyone seen a FD with Yokohama AVS VS-5 Rims?

Here's a pic:

Dimensions Q - Will a 17 x 9" Front fit snuggly? I did a search but no girth sizes were mentioned when coilcovers are needed.

Also, same question with the rear...will a 18 x 9.5" fit without modifications?

Any input is kindly appreciated.

Thanks !

well, what I know is my friend called japan, 18/9 front 18/10 is not recommanded by all the dealer ship and shop in Japan. I run 17/8 17/9 on mine with 235/45/17 and 265/40/17 rear, they are fine so far. I am going from AVS model 5 , 18/8 18/9 soon.

These rims are discontinued....they have a new series but do not look as impressive as this model..although Gun-metal is a color-option now...

A 17x9 with a 45mm offset will fit in the front. SleepR1 has 17x9 SSR Integrals on all 4 corners of his car and whenever mine show up, I will too.

As for the x10 in the rear, again +45 offset is supposed to fit fine.

Search through the wheels/tire/suspension forum and you'll probably find the info you're looking for.

Not sure whether mine are the VS-5 or not. Any way, pic attached of mine before it sailed from Japan. I dont pick the car up til next week but have seen it in the flesh and can say that pictures dont do these rims justice! They look loads better in R/L

Mine are 17's and fit is very good. No probs at all.

Not a great picture (I was experimenting with an image-stitching program), but here's my car with 17x8s all around:

Here's another. Great rims, very strong, but not the lightest thing on the market anymore. Still works of rolling art.

Frank Choi had them on his FD.

I forget what he started. Battle of the Imports? Some import thing. Memory sucks right now.

They run about $700 each. I'm sure if someone has them in stock you might be able to get a discount. BMW had them as optional equipment on M Coupes too..I've seen three in my area with 18" versions and BMW center caps. Very strange...
