Picked up my SE37A's today!

My SE37A's arrived today along with four new tires. I purchased 18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear in bronze. I have a black FD and these should look pretty darn sweet. The rims came with valve stems, centering rings, lug nuts, and center caps. For the money, the Volks just can't be beat. They're INCREDIBLY light and seem to be very well made/high quality. The tires will be mounted tomorrow morning and I'll try and get some pics up on the forum by tomorrow evening as soon as I'm parsed out two new digital cameras tomorrow (D1H's) at work. I went with the Kumho 712's again as they're one hell of a tire for the money and I didn't feel like shelling out $350 each for rear tires. Oh, Kumho is releasing a Max performance DRY tire sometime this fall. Should give all comers a run for their money. Apparently the price will be very attractive as on the 712's. FYI.

In the meantime, I still have a set of Advan VS-5's (pic below) for sale. Go to http://www.yrc.co.jp/tire/wheel/avs_vs5.html to see the prices on these bad boys. The exchange rate is approximately 120:1 and of course, that price doesn't include shipping, import tarriffs, tax, etc....I'm asking $1600 for the set, including four good tires with 50-60% treadlife left.

I wish I had a black car so I could get away getting those same wheels! I really love the SE37A's but know they'd look like doggie doo on my red FD.

BTW, I would buy your wheels but they look exactly like the wheels on my brother's car.

Have you considered the A's in black? I saw the K version on a red FD (posed somewhere here on the forum) and they looked pretty darn mean. There's also the Le37K which has gunmetal spokes and a polished silver lip. They look a bit more "classy" than the normal K model. I think it'd be kind of cool to have the same rims as my bro...unless of course he's your younger brother and has a nicer 7 :-) My brother, younger, will make 4x what I make this year. He's sending somewhere in the neighborhood of $35K to me at the end of the year. With that money, I'm to purchase, modify, tune, and ship a third gen back to him. While I'll have great fun doing this, the downside is he can't drive a stick! Maybe I should just get him a Supra instead, LOL.

Yes I love both the LE37K and the SE37K in black but cannot get ahold of Rishie for a price!

That's because I have some serious jetlag and fatigue from my lengthy trips. I am exhausted. I am calling to find out inventory on those GT-P's you inquired about. At least I still kept in touch when a computer was available to me, on my "vacation" mind you.

I got you a price on the GT-P's, so availability should be all you need to know, right? Thanks DEF.

Rishie.

congratulations on the A's. I guess you are the only one with them, since no one posted pictures under your previous thread. That's always good news, especially for overboostd.com

Here we go...managed to get the rims on the car this morning. Just some quick pics in the parkinglot with a "regular" D1, not the "H" model Hedge...:-) Boss is too busy to hand them out today so hopefully tomorrow morning before I leave for MADS.

The car is dirty too, but you can get a pretty good idea of how they'll look. Awesome with the black paint. The bronze is more gold than a true bronze and the pics don't do the surface finish justice. With the Kumho tires, one wheel combo needed NOTHING to balance it, the rest were all 1oz. or under. I think I'll go with a 275 or 285 in the rears next time around. My front offset is 33mm which puts it right on the edge. Still, you can see the fender gap and there's more than enough room to lower the car an inch or more.

Rishie I've been trying to get ahold of you just so you DON'T have to go through all the hassle of getting the GT-P information. Please accept my apologies! I have found another Volk Rim that I am much, much more interested in and am prepared to give you my CC# *TODAY* to get them! Please check the email I sent you. Thanks.

Do you have any pics of these two rims in black? I'm looking to buy a nice set of black or gun metal rims (preferably 18's) for my cym VERY SOON! If you can't post them on the Forum then please e-mail me at Stevo4517@hotmail.com

Thanx
