Enkie RS6's...

im looking to buy enkie rs6's for my FD

i went to a discount tire direct store here by my house in los angeles. i talked to one of the employees and i saw the enkie rs6's hanging on the wall. i asked him how much for the 16 inchers. he asked for what car i was going to put them on and i said my rx-7. he said the price was 125 but they wouldnt be able to put them on my FD because they are not combatable (sp) for some reason.

is he wrong? or what. i really dont know much about tires and wheels and sizing them and all that mumbo jumbo. i did a search and im still confused.

thanks~john

You've definitely got a lot to learn.... The Enkei RS6s are a FWD wheel, like pretty much any wheel you could buy at discount tire.... The widest they go is 7", the stock wheels are 16"x8".

Not to mention the fact that you see those wheels on every Civic on the block....

Spend some time researching. You're not going to find a wheel deserving to be mounted on an FD at any chain wheel/tire place, that's for sure.....

there are good economical staggered setups made by 5Zigen, Ray's, and Enkei High Performance.
