car won't start after single turbo conversion (electrical problems too)

so the car won't start after we finished installing the single turbo conversion.

we have got the rs6 turbo kit, apexi front mount, power FC with modified wires and loaded map, HKS twin power, and relocated battery.

it is kinda wierd cause i moved the battery to the trunk, and the headlights work and so does the starter, but when the key is just on battery nothing else works. no dome light when the door is open, no chime for key in igntnion, no radio, no turbo timer, no power to the FC commander,... it is like all my accesories are not powering up. i don't know if the ignition is part of the accesories stuff, but the little light on the HKS twin power is not on (should it be?) i can hear the motor turning over, but it doesn't start

i looked at the fuel pump but it must be working cause fuel poured out when i disconected one of the hoses right above the pump,

i don't know if the ignition is sparking, cause with the manifold on and everything it is kinda hard to see.

anyway anyone have any ideas? i haven't checked the fuses or anything, but that would be alot of fuses to blow.

i also tried connecting the stock computer back in but again none of my accesories worked and the car still didn't work.

also, i tried grounding the negative wire in the front incase that was hooked to a lot of other stuff, but still got nothing. the car has been out of commision for a long while and i am really looking forward to driving it so please help...

thanks a lot,

harrison

You said it , you somehow blew a fuse , you need to check the fuses in the fuse box located in the cabin , I know because I did it many times and simply changed out a fuse (15amp) I cant say which because my car is jap spec and everything is written in japanese.

Re: car won't start after single turbo conversion (electrical problems too)

if you fix your blown fuse and you still cant the car to run, try these pointers!

confirm your fuel pump is working and is building enough pressure by hooking up a fuel pressure gauge..you need around 35psi for the injs to spray correctly..

now check your injectors..hook up a test diode or take a stethescope and put it against each of the primary to confirm that a "tapping" noise is heard..that will confirm that the injs are working..

now check for spark..hook up a timing light to each one of the leads to see if it pulses..while your at it, you might as well check your base timing

good luck!
