Not Having Luck Finding ....

I am trying to find some 17mm hex long acorn lugnuts to fit my ENKIE RP01s. I bought them used and the previous owners kept the lugnuts. When I contacted ENKIE, they said they do not have them anymore.

Hey Chuck,

Are having problems with the studs sticking out further (shallower lug seats on the wheel), or is the lug 'recess wells' too small in diameter to fit a regular socket in (or is it maybe a regular lugnut will not fit)?

If the the former, then maybe open lug nuts might work, and if the latter you can get a smaller diameter socket from Lowe's/Home Depot Racing. Or if regular lug nuts will not fit - I've got McGard Spline drives which might do the trick. You should be able to order them thru an auto parts store that carries McGaurd. I got mine from one of those online Miata stores.

Daniel,

The stock nuts work fine but the clearance between the socket and wheel is only about 1/16". Brad kept the nuts, and I have seen them on Kyle's RP01s. They look better beside having more clearance.

I was wanting nuts that do not take a special tool to remove which is all that a local Enkie dealer has.
