convertible rear sway bar upgrade?

convertible rear sway bar upgrade?
ok so the 89 vert had a 14mm rear sway and the the 90-91 verts had a puny 12mm. is there any good reason mazda switched it? can anyone think of a reason not to swap out my 12mm in favor of a 14mm? does anyone have experience doing this? thanks in advance.
