Anyone with an FD ever use these springs? How does it look (the drop) and handle?

Never heard of them and I researched springs pretty thoroughly before I sprung for a new set (no pun intended ). Why don't you go for a proven set like H&R Sports or Eibach Pro-Kits?

 

I probably will.. I'm not ready to buy springs just yet because I'm still doing research. I want to make sure I cover all corners, thats why I'm asking about these springs.

 

for $136 you get a better brand and from what I'm reading they are pretty good.

i jsut put in the eibachs - got them for 243 SHIPPED.

they definitely make a difference in handling and they go on in a cinch (now that I have done them once.

better off getting name brand that you know will fit and work well. do a search here for springs as there have been more than a few people with fitment/rubbing/ride height issues.

 

i emailed the ebay seller as to spring rate and whether they were progressive or linear on the 19th. so far no answer.

i did check the Tein link and found that the Tein springs, after transposing from kg/mm, are 432 front and 378 rear. they are exactly the rate of my Tein HA coil-overs which i really like.. i hold a high opinion as to Tein product.

your other option, IMO, is the Eibach Pro Kit. the rate is 350 front and 255 rear. the ride height of your car will be 25.5 inches at the top of the front wheel well and 25.8 at the rear. these are super springs and transform the car.

so you have 2 excellent options... both a major step up from oem rate.
