Who has put 255 40 17's on the front of a 3rd gen with 9.5" rims? Do I have to roll the fenders if I want to take it to the circuit?

 

if my memory serves me i'm running 255/40-17s on SSR GT1s 17x9 all around. the car is lowered with teins. i didn't do anything special to the fenders. i did notice that on one side it did dent the fender a little. i think this was either when i bottomed out or i spun. not sure. but otherwise it hasnt given me too much problems.

 

to help anybody else out, i have done some much harder driving now. the tires rubbed on one of the small bolts inside the wheel well that holds the plastic in. i took those out and zip tied it. nothing rubs anymore.

I have a Tein Type RA. Spring rate is 16 kg/mm (about 900 lb/in), lowered 30mm (1.18 in) in the front and 25mm(1 in) in the back and no camber.
