89 TII Brakes on a 1990 GXL
I have a 1990 GXL and am considering replacing the brake booster and MC with ones I have from a 1989 TII. The 89 TII had ABS. The 90 GXL does not. I have read the booster and MC from the 89 TII is larger and will take some of the "softness" from my brake pedal. A few questions,
1.Anyone know if this will help with the soft pedal feeling?
2. Is it a direct bolt on upgrade or do I need to modify lines? i know the MC is different.
3. The calipers look the same. Are they? I searched the parts manual and it looks like the same part numbers.
4. Would I be better doing the 929 upgrade?

2. most of it is a bolt in, however you will need some kind of T or Y fitting to make the 2 lines from the ABS car, go to 3 lines for yours.
3. same part numbers = same part
4. the 929 is a bigger jump in size, so it makes the pedal even firmer, other than that though its the same work
