Can I get away with a 275 tyre on a 9inch rim for my FD?? Rear

Also a 235 tyre on an 8inch rim?? Front

 

You CAN get away withboth, but it's less than optimal.

 

I'm in the same boat, but I'm going with a 265 to retain good sidewall dynamics under load. If you still want to run a 275 get at least a 10inch wide wheel with the correct offset for your setup. Are your fenders rolled?

 

***** to it, I'll just go for 265's if its going to be that much hassle.

I am running 235's up front on my FC vert and 275's on rear 11" wheel

 

im running 275's on a 9.5"

 

275's will fit on a 9 inch rim, but it wont be optimal. I'd stick with 265 or 255 on a 9" wheel.

The 235's should be fine on an 8" wheel.

I know a guy that runs 275's on 8.5" wide wheels.

 

Ok i'll stick with a 265, 275's might look a bit **** on a 9inch rim aswell LOL.

 

I run 245s on my stock wheels front and back

 

im runnung 275's on my 18x9 inch rim man it will work

 

How does it look on the wheel??? I dont want it to over hang on the wheel if you know what I mean.
