275 tyres on 9inch rim???

275 tyres on 9inch rim???

Can I get away with a 275 tyre on a 9inch rim for my FD?? Rear

Also a 235 tyre on an 8inch rim?? Front

I'm in the same boat, but I'm going with a 265 to retain good sidewall dynamics under load. If you still want to run a 275 get at least a 10inch wide wheel with the correct offset for your setup. Are your fenders rolled?

275's will fit on a 9 inch rim, but it wont be optimal. I'd stick with 265 or 255 on a 9" wheel.

The 235's should be fine on an 8" wheel.

I know a guy that runs 275's on 8.5" wide wheels.

Ok i'll stick with a 265, 275's might look a bit **** on a 9inch rim aswell LOL.

How does it look on the wheel??? I dont want it to over hang on the wheel if you know what I mean.
