width at the front

Hi!

Putting a very circuit orientated set-up on my FD,

Running 17x9 Buddy Club P1's all round to keep the balance correct, i'd like to run 255/40/17 A048R's all round... with the suspension I'm running (Tein RE with 16kg springs) will I be getting trouble with clearance at the front? ...I have the option to drop to 245 at the front and to roll the arches too... what do you reckon?

Thanks in advance!

Andy

From what I have gathered, I think the 245's would be a safe bet.

You can run 255/40 no problem, assuming your offsets are good. Good luck keeping the car on track with 16/16 spring rates. Yikes!

LOL! my regular tracks are pretty wide and smooth, the 40 profile means i can drop the pressures a little, the RE can drop to 14kg if i want... the Tein UK Director reckons they should be real good... guess we'll see how sideways i end up!

thanks for the input though!...hoped there wouldnt be a prob but thought id ask an opinion from the experienced!

Cheers again
