17x7.5 on an FD

I found a really good deal on some 17" rims, but they are only 7.5" wide. The offset is 48mm. I'm fairly certain they will fit correctly, but I'm worried about the rims being 7.5" wide. Is the half inch loss negligible or should I pass these rims up and look for something bigger?

Extreme conservative in a tire standpoint and wheel fitment standpoint.

You can run quite a BIT more depending on what you are doing with the car.

Don't bother. The deal can't be that great.

if all you care about is how the car looks... go for it
if you give two ***** about traction, go buy some real wheels (not made for civics)

That set up will fit perfectly on a Protege/protege5/MSP.
Maybe someone on the Protege forums would want 'em.
