Have any wheel or tire ?

Hey guys I have noticed a lot of questions about wheels and tires. If you have any questions I should be able to help. I work for Discount Tire Co. and have direct conections to just about all the manufactures. Info is very easy to get and I could probable answer alot without calling. So feel free to ask

mostly allows to run the widest tire on all 4 corners without having stearing problems. Other than that just for the looks. The more the rubber in the back the better it looks and performes. I think. I run a staggered set so i can get a wider tire in the back for traction.

I want to buy the new NT-05 in 255/40-17, and Nitto recommends mounting on no lower than an 8.5 wide rim. I have an 8. Will this really be a problem, or did they just have to draw the line somewhere?

I currently have 245/40-17s on there right now and I don't see how another few MM would push things over the brink.

a 255 on an 8'' wheel is kind of on the small side (for the wheel). I would recommend a 235/40 if Nitto makes that.

with a 255, your tire will be... like a "muffintop"
