The SAFC II has made it to the top of my list of things to buy.

I am curious where you bought yours from and at what price. Why spend too much?

I paid over 380 from rx7.com because when i got mine it was when the safc2 first came out and nobody had them but them (didnt look to hard) but summit has them a little cheaper.

safc doesn't change hp, just gives your car proper fuel delivery. I guess you would see hp changes from improper tuning to proper tuning, though.

damn $30 shipping! it's actually $249 from that guy, but that's still better than buying local i guess, there's just no way it costs $30 to ship that tiny box

I was looking at the ebay guy, but thought I would check with you guys first. Make sure there isn't a horror story behind what he is selling.

For the record, I am not looking for major hp gains with it. I'll take anything I can get of course. But, I just finished my custom 2.5" exhaust system (no cats or emissions) and I think I am leaning out on top end too much. No flames, blue tint starting on the exhaust tips and seems to lose some power after 6200 rpm or so. I have been shifting at 4-5k just to keep in the safe zone until I get my SAFC II and get the A/F tuned in.

I have one I am not using that I bought from Smoken' on the forum a couple of months ago. It is in great shape and will let someone have it for what I paid, $220 shipped to 48 states.
PM me and let me know if anyone is interested............Chuckles
PS We are going standalone, so don't need it.
