Super AFC are thare any tricks to this???

are thare any tricks to this???

i just installed my rteik 1.7 and i have a super AFC-1 i was wondering if there are any settings that i have to change becuase im getting a hesitation right before boost. its light to medium load on the engine and in vacuum. can the settings on the safc be causing this?

possibly, you have to remember the Rtek 1.7 is designed for running the 720s so that is gonna change your old settings on the SAFC somwhat. Befroe you had the SAFC desigend to run with the computer thinking you had 550s. Youdo have 720 or bigger secondaries right?

I was getting an occasional lean bump between 3K & 5K under boost.

I thought my grounds were solid, but guess what..

I added a backup ground from the BAC mount to the strut tower and the problem instantly went away..
