im driving an s4 and i was programming my safc2 and i set on the s4 flap sensor and i went through and tried tuning it an the whole time it ran like crap. but then i was thinking and i set it to the s5 flap sensor and i tuned it and it runs like a dream now. and what gets me is the ecu is for an s4 so whats the deal ?!?!?!

 

were you using a wideband o2 sensor to tune it? or just by the seat of your pants? Make sure you initialized it properly, sometimes you think you did everything possible, but it's usually something simple.

 

i did everything the manual said except the flap sensor i had to go with the s5 but thats why im confused

 

Are you referring to the 6 in 6 out setting for the S5 vs. the 5 in 5 out setting for the S4?

They are both flap.
