anyone NA SAFC ported ???

Anyone else running SAFC on ported NA motor... would like to take a look at your corrections.. would like to compare.. to see what other people are getting.... pulled this thing out of my TII<it got a microtech>... and had to reset everything the thing would not even start. it was so rich....I've already pulled/added fuel in places... just curious....

assuming intake manifolds/intake are mostly stock, the fuel curve should follow a fairly predictable pattern. bump.

I could compare for a couple different ported N/A's (S4 or S5), but it really is completely dependent on the car. I rarely get any decent pattern amongst S4 cars to set a "base" to... it also really depends on how risky you feel like being: I tune quiet lean for N/A's.

to be a little more precise... S5 NA STport pimaries/sec. and 5/6th are agressive.. mild port on intake manifold k/n and Stock exh/hifi CAT no sleeves ....timing:10' past stock.. just curious to see how much people are taking out... After the port job my motor tends to have more of hesitation in 3200-3800 and you can almost feel the injectors cutting in and out. with a little more fuel it smooths it out... also at idle added a little and it smoothed out... at cruise 4/5th pulled some out more power... want to compare others... coments please.. what are other poeple doing ... Ithink enough of us use these things.. there should be an extensive data base.. in the safc section of the forum... were is it...

There is no point to a S-AFC settings database because every car is different. For example: I can give you my settings, but since I have a TII fuel pump, 550 injectors in the secondary injector holes, and an S4 ECU it won't do you any good. Just get the thing tuned on a dyno and be done with it.

OK... let's say I load up my setting's to you and you use them, then your engine blows... who do you blame? me. Is it my fault, no, but I am still going to feel bad.

The S-AFC can be looked at as a rpm-based AFM calibration device... it merely alters the AFM signal. In my testing, no two stock AFM's have had equal resistance values... swap in a new AFM, you should re-tune to be safe.

Get it? What's the point in tuning YOUR car if you're not going to actually TUNE your car?
