New stuff for 09

This thread is here to show stuff that has been reworked for 09. The biggest change is the manifolds for a few reasons....

One we have too many I have a long runner a short runner a medium runner. All designed for specific reasons, and all good reasons, however..... it makes for ordering and fitting and material nightmare.

You can't fit the long runner with a V-mount or SMIC for the most part. So it is gone... while I do think it help in certain areas on performance. It was a pain to make a headache to install, and limited in application, not saying it wasn't good or anything.

The short runner was nice and it's main purpose was air pump fitment, but it limited turbo size.

Medium length is a good all around manifold and is our RHD setup.

For 09 we will be going with a new manifold it is similar to our short runner setup. It will still be equal length. It will be longer than our short runner as well. It will not retain the air pump. (I will still make the old short runner if needed for that purpose only) It will fit turbo's larger than your standard "S" cover compressor. It will work with SMIC, VMIC, FMIC. It will work with Xcessive LIM with "S" cover turbo's ie TO4R-Z etc. It will work with larger comp covers as well with very minor work. All in all it solves 90% of the issues that we were facing with all the mixing and matching and more people starting to use Xcessive intakes and other aftermarket stuff.

Here are a few pics of that manifold.

It is my intention to also be making a V-mount kit that will be made specifically for this setup, you will essentially be able to buy both and get the whole thing to fit right in as a unit. No more worrying about will this kit work with that kit or whatnot.

I will be also having a kit setup using TiAL's V-banded housings. These kit will be very nice as the install on them will be super easy with few connections. It will also be made to work with the V-mount, SMIC, FMIC, Xcessive stuff.

Pics below.

Not sure at the moment. My priority with it is something very functional first.

I use my RotaryExtreme V-mount with your long-runner GT35R kit and it works just fine.

That being said, these kits look nice! Any chance you can make the manifold work with the Tial VF60 (http://www.tialsport.com/prod_wg_60.html)?

Yes, that's the whole idea if I can get cracking on our v-mount setup it will be about as nice as it gets. I have a few nice pieces I want to include in it.

looks like this set up would work better with my v-mount kit I have. Wish this was out sooner.

I wish I could've got to it sooner, it takes time to sit down and rethink and refit stuff, and we fell way behind on orders here this year so I never got a chance to sit and rethink it.

I understand what your saying. I have had the 3574 kit for over a year and know I am just getting to installing it. I also have to deal with some fitment issues and routing things to bring my set up around with all the stuff I am doing to the car.

It should It has the room there for it but I haven't fitted one. I think there are better turbo options from precision or garrett for the FD so I made sure those fit ok.

Anything new on the V-mount setup? what kind of IC core you thinking about using? I'll toss in another vote for making it work with A/C too.
