$45k invested? The paint and wheels must have been very, very, very expensive.

but looks good and I bet its a fun car to drive.

If I was going to spend $18,000, I would like to get some carpet at least!
Maybe I'm just picky.

Yeah, I just saw this one earlier when I was browsing ebay.

I chuckled when they said $45k was done to it.

I'm not 100%, but I think I've seen this car before at Planet Zero. If its the same one I saw about a month or so ago. Its very clean in person (engine & exterior). He went down to Florida and drove it back to Houston when it was finished. It was on a fresh rebuild with upgraded goodies. He said that he was going to put it up for sale for low-mid teens but I guess he changed it up. Its tasefully done but, not $45,000 worth. Assuming its the same one. I got pics some where around here.

The 712s are absolute junk. After a few thousand miles they have zero stick, they belong on an accord or taurus, not an rx-7.

Kumho does make some decent tires (mx, v700 etc), but the 712s dont fall into that category.

we should all run out and get 10,000 dollar tires... want to??

^ ^

who cares, a tire is a tire, unless your gonna build a complete drag car. You can drive on the things... and hook up decent, then no problem.

Tires are the single most important change you can make to improve the handling of your car.

He never left, he's been posting in other areas of the forum. I do like the fact HE is trying to call out Rich of all people.
