I have 2 13b engines and I just need to get one tested. The other one I think is blown, it doesn't look great. Also post if you know how much it will cost me.
Thanks in advance!

so it's not in the car? thats going to be hard to test compression with out it in a car or on some sort of test stand where it can at least crank at 300rpm. If it is in the car then why don't you just get a piston compression tester from advance and test it yourself?

ohhhh, I didn't know that. Maybe I'll just tear apart my other one and see how bad it is inside myself. If anyone wants to help tear down a kinda rusty 13b, Let me know. Airtools would be awsome BTW,lol

if I was close I would but I'm on the other side of louisiana. Good luck and don't worry air tools are not really needed, Well besides the flywheel bolt. Also be sure and rememeber how all the front cover stuff goes on. Other than that it's real easy, like putting a double decker sandwitch together

LOL, I've put a few DD sandwitchs together so I might be able to get it. Yeah the crank bolt is giving me problems though. I haven't even made it the flywheel yet, lol.

IF you have a long breaker bar then you can use that for the front bolt as long as someone can hold the flywheel nut from turning in the back (if you have a big enough socket for it) or you can get one of those flywheel holder tools from mazdatrix witch would make things alot easier. Here one of these at 36 bux http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=49-22000 and one of these at 23 bux http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=49-220NT should have you well on your way to opening that thing up.

Help is always welcomed. I don't know much about the 13b and what little bit I do know doesn't come in to play when I can't even get it apart, lol. You can call me pretty much anytime at 504-274-8958. I'll answer as long as I'm not doing something importent. If I don't answer then please leave a voice mail. Thanks
Richard
