well here is another update, my intercooler and 100 bucks worth of NPG-R Coolant will be here today, IE it is 4:45AM
I built my alt relocation braket, and started to install some of the wiring and coils.
There was one thing that i didnt no before, well i just didnt look before. The Alt/Water belt is smaller than the P/S-A/C belt. So i had to use a GM Alt pulley that was the same size belt. The only problem is that the pulley is a little bigger
Stock 2 1/16
GM 2 5/16
The main Pulley is 4 3/8
Anyone good at math, find out what the alt will spin at redline with the stock one and the GM one.
The belt almost fits also
Well you will see in the pics whats new.

Yea i did the math later, I think it will be ok.
I was a little worried about the extra load from the Water pump and Fans on most of the time, even at idle.
Good thing i am not into the loud radios and subs
Anyways i got my intercooler in and did some test fitments to find the location it needs to be
It really looks good
The piping is going to fall into place, it is scary how good everything is coming together.
Here is a side shot

Here is a Front Shot

I bet you are wondering where the piping is going to be going, Frist the piping in the picture is not going to be used. It was just something I had laying around. Waiting on my intercooler piping to come in.

There is a spot that is perfect for the 2 1/2 piping to fit into the bumper without hitting the turn lights

Some shots with the nose on

Now where is the Rad going to go, well it will fit in the stock location but i want just a little more air flow so i am going to move it up just a little. I am going to redo my alum undertray to fit with the new noise.

Also i started to work on my DP, This is just some ideas that i am working on. Like i said WORK IN PROGRESS

IT is starting to look really mean in the front with all this

i know I'm not a member of the south forum, but i am very curious about the intercooler piping and where it is going to go. i am working on a front mount at the moment and still haven't decided where to run the pipes. looks good!

No the D@M call out list
Anyways i have the piping about 90% done, just waiting on my Greddy Elbow to show up.
I have been working on my EWP adapter plate so i can get my sensors in there.
Well i had a small problem trying to get the meziere WP336 water pump, so i had to upgrade to the Stewarts EMP. The meziere one is on backorder from summit untill the 3-27-07 and a few other places that i order things are also waiting for more to come in. The stewarts is good also, 55gpm and such..... I really like that it is a brushless motor, one of my RC cars has a brushless motor and they are really torque'e and powerfull and the best part last for allmost ever. Stewarts says they will last 10,000+
Also started to weld the dp
THE CAR WILL BE STARTED WED.........
I will post pics in a bit
