Steve Kan Tuning in Tulsa, Ok May 28, 2006

Well, it's confirmed. Steve Kan is coming to Tulsa to tune on the weekend of the Rotary Rendezvous BBQ in Tulsa OK.

For those of you that were planning to get tuned sometime 5 months you do a double feature and hit the BBQ as well. The BBQ is FREE for all but the tuning is not

If you want to sign up for the BBQ and the Tuning just go to www.RotaryRendezvous.com and click the registration button. There is checkbox for "Steve Kan Tuning" there.

Time for me to pick up a damn fuel pump and get retune...450 here I come!

What kinda custom stuff? is it top secret?

Maybe you'll be a candidate for the car show

Also, anyone actually interested in the tuning. Be sure you have your car running right before tuning. fresh plugs, fuel filter, and the fuel setup to support what you are shooting for.

mine? no. but I am doing a well known forum members car for show, it is under wraps until done. Maybe we can get him to appear? I have done a bunch of custom carbon fiber work to my interior and such, I have a couple of custom things like ac relocation and things of that nature. I might go for a best in show, I am going to do my best to be there. I think this might be my best chance of getting tuned by Steve. I also wanna come and have fun with all of you. I haven't shown my FD much, but that is going to change this next season. What are the details with Steve?

It would be great to have you there to show your work.

got a question. I just got a microtech and sonicrat was nice enough to come by and put a rough tune on it to break my engine in however we are doing the break in with a 550/890cc combo however I think with horsepower I'm shooting for it's going to need larger primary injectors witch I have just not installed in the car. Do you think steve would go for me putting the 890cc injectors in the primary location when I'm there and ready to be tuned? I just hate to mess the tune up that already took forever on the configuration I have. Anyways if thats a go I'm all for it. And to the person that pmed me about this steve kahn tuning thank you very much!

edit: ewww crap just noticed this isn't taking place until may there is no way I can not boost until may, that will kill me, lol. Anyways Don't count me in yet, hopefully he will be tuning somewhere else sooner. Thanks.

If you think you have the time to change the injectors when you get there, I can definately tune it for you.

pluto, thats you steve? Never knew that Anyways can't wait to get the car to you to see what you can do! hopefully you are comming down to the south at another tune session sometime sooner than that so I can get this motor boosting sometime in january. I see your sig says fort worth? I would be more than happy to drive the car up there if you have a shop so I could have you tune it. Anyways yeah with how many times I've changed my injectors I will have no problems changing them within a few minutes.

If you want to bring your car to our shop, that will make it much easier. Our shop is on our website.

www.gothamracing.com

5621 Main street
Watauga, TX 76148

make sure that you have the microtech adapter with you for tuning.

Not sure. But I don't think steve can reprogram your stock ECU...

i guess first thing you need to find out is if you are ok AFR wise.

Id you actually need a tune then there's probably some piggy back computer out for the 8 now. Steve should be able to answer this q.

Bump!

Few spots left for tuning and a good time to get tuned if you are going to Rotary Rendezvous BBQ meet.

Hahaha... Funny how it was a 4runner that was overheating and not an RX-7. Ahhh, the irony...
