Would like to see something like this in Austin, how did this get started in SA?

 

Well I searched out a couple of possible spots for this. Asked the coffee shop manager for permission and make sure there is no one else that needs to give their approval. Reassure them that this is a relaxed event and people will behave appropriately (the early start usually assures no rice).

Once you have your location set up start emailing the local car clubs and posting on the forums with the details. Good luck.

We get going at 8:30 and people usually stay for about 2hrs. The S2000 boys usually go for a cruise somewhere afterwards.

 

The one we have here in Dallas is HUGE!

 

Hopefully this one will continue to grow, it was a bit scanty today...only non pistoneers were me and an RX-8, with any luck the meet will grow some more and we can really get a good show going.

 

Normally we do have a better showing but we switched it this month from the last Saturday. Definitely won't happen again, they will stay on the last Saturday of the month no matter if there is a holiday or not.

 

Wow i did not know there was a cars and coffee meet here in town!?!?! HOLY ****! is this every 4th Saturday of every month? Please say yes lol

 

It will be the last Saturday of the month from now on even if it falls on a Holiday.
