Good set of tires
Track brake pads (not a must, but highly recommended)
recent flush of the brake system(within 6 months)
New alignment(optional)
No oil or coolant leaks
Snell 2000/Dot helmet or rent one at the track
Torque wrench for your lug bolts (you can borrow one from others)
Some basic tools, if you know you are going to need them
2 quarts of oil (its a rotary for Gods sake)
Lots of water and snacks
Some money for gas and food
Long comfy pants and long sleeve shirt of natural fiber (recommended)
No waffle running tennis shoes
Good attitude to learn
Leave your ego/pride home

may consider jackstands, floor jack, string and a measuring tape for toe out.
tire gauge
cheap electric air pump
sunglasses maybe?

Sadly i might not be able to make it, my motor just devloped a rod knock this morning. I am going to put another shortblock in there as quick as possible but it will be close. i would say 50/50 at this point. All depend on money.

Will keep you updated.

My status will depend largely on how much I get done on the car this weekend. I'll update early next week.

The alignment should cover you, for the 4 track sessions.
I don't think you will be changing toe, that often, that will requier you to bring a floor jack, stands, tape, string, etc.
PST has free air service and someone always has a tire gauge you can borrow.
Sun glasses, only if you like to look cool at the track. LOL
I just listed the basic and minimum needs for that day.
All of the above is optional and someone there most likely will have it.

Oh, and my chances of making it just got better, just found a shortblock that i can have for free just have to pick it up, 10 hours worth of driving this weekend should take care of that though.

If i get that no problems and it runs ok then i should be back on for being good to go in time, gonna be close but i should make it if nothing else goes boom.

Just got an update from most of my guys, and they are spreading it around even more so hope to get a few more as well.

I just picked up my replacement motor, just got to wait for a new Headgasket to show up and a few little things then i will get it back together and should be ready to go. It will be close but i should be able to make it if nothing else breaks.

yeah got about half of what we need confirmed. as for track items TX RX, the main things are having good tires, good pads, bleeding brakes, helmet, and etc. if you don't have some of the tools and stuff then don't worry about it, there will be plenty of people including myself that will let you use theirs, such as the torque wrenches, press gauges, etc. I should be at the meet if you want me to do a quick look at your car and talk to you more about stuff to bring and all.

Can get track brake pads
  • Doing a flush this weekend
  • Just been aligned
  • no leaks I can tell
  • I have a Snell M2005 Helmet from when I rode a Ninja
  • Torque Wrench check
  • basic tools check
  • Since my OMP broken, in my case it's plenty of bottles of 2 stroke oil or fix my OMP by May
  • Water, snacks, money, and food; no problem
  • Pants and shirt are no problem
  • Waffle tennis shoes are all I wear, almost. Will my motorcycle boots do?
  • Good attitude to learn and stowing my ego I can do
  • Have the floor jack, jackstands, measuring tape, and string
  • Have a dial gauge from my motorcycling days
  • Have a cheap Sears pump and a bicycle pump.
  • May have to figure something out for sunglasses.

Yep sounds like you're good to go, the only concern is the helmet. you will have to check with the actual group running the event and see if they allow it. cause I know some don't allow the M rated helmets.
