What:
Beer, Babes and Bullets Run - A "speedy" drive from Hooters (Kirby and 59) to the Kemah Boardwalk with a sonic detour through the eastside's Washburn tunnel. Once we have arrived at the Boardwalk the club takes a few rides (as many as you can handle) on the Boardwalk Bullet, Houston's only roller coaster.

$4.75 per ride or $9.99 per person/wristband pass - unlimited rides on any up & running.

When:
January 31st 2009 - Meet at Hooter's at noon. Saddle up and drive to the Boardwalk at 2PM. Drive will take less than a hour. Ride the Bullet around 3:30PM after getting some group photos.

The Bullet is capable of speeds over 50 mph and can pull as much as 3.5 G's! You won't be disappointed.

Since only two RX's showed up, one guy (and wife) went home and the other guy and myself went out to MSR to race karts. After karting for an hour we watched some (NASA) races and chilled out at the track.

This is a great example why we stopped having Saturday meetings. You guys never show up. I took off a day of work just to support this meeting and we get two attendees.


What will it take to get people to come? Please help me out here because I'm about ready to just give up entirely.
