Well i guess the moon was just right for everyone to drive down to my place today, I hope Larry will post some of the pictures and videos from the gathering.

Some how my FD got back on the road for some launches up and down the street, I think I have converted a few people into loving the half-bridgeport.

Also TwistedRotors and his better half AngelWankel came by for some parts for here new ride.

I think the only thing that got done today was alot of beer being filtered thru some kidneys.

I think TwistedRotors want a Cosmo, or something in that time frame.

Damn, that was fun! It was kick *** to get to hang out with everyone at "Chuck's Rotary Parts Warehouse", but the icing on the cake was getting to pimp the Cosmo! If/when I get another project car, it's definitely gonna be an old school.
Chuck's FD surprised me, I thought it was going to be laggier or that the power would come on sharply....but that wasn't the case. From the quick blast up and down the street the acceleration was just really smooth, not harsh like I was expecting. Ridiculously fast, in a good way! I'm still debating on whether or not to go with a half-bridge for my FC though...I never intended for the car to get that much horsepower.
The majority of the consumed alcohol is taken care of by the liver but the kidney does take care of some alcohol in the bloodstream by filtering it into urine. I didn't actually know that until just now....I love Google.
Put up the videos of Scott and I giggling like schoolgirls when Chuck does his "fly-by" in the FD!

Were trying to post the video but his computer was acting up. If he can't get them up I will tell him to just send the info to Chuck and I think he can post it. I just got dropped off at my house like 30 min ago I spent the night at Larry's pimp crib cause it was really late and he was tired and didn't want to drive solo after the detour to my house.

Here are some photos still working on the vid. YEah the last time I drove home alone, I fell asleep and hit a curb and damage my 20 inch rims on my black grand chrerokee. Two of them looked like taco shells. I still manage to drive home on em. You should have seen the sparkes. Would have made for a great fireworks display. OR a episode on cops. the worst part was i was like a mile from the house. Just having some one to talk to when your driving helps alot. My son fell right asleep when we hit the road. Dude it was fun at the house yesterday.

If you look at the last picture I posted of the group. I noticed everyone in the pic owns a 7. Except for my 5 year old son. I guess he needs one now.... He loved the meet. He was talking about spidey today. ABout how he likes spiderman to.

I think next time we shoot a vid I want to use a road cone and tape the camera to the top of it and do a fly by on it.

is great but after being there in person it just doesn't compare. I wish chuck had the seat or at least a seat belt and I would have went for a ride in it

 

Yea I am working on some new LOW profile seats, so i can have some head room.

I am really thinking about welding th sunroof closed when i go to paint it then install the non-sunroof headliner. That will solve alot of my problems

It really wasn't planned at all, we all just kinda showed up to get parts. I'm down for more than 1 meet a month though.

I wasn't invited either - I just heard about it and crashed the par-tay. When the beer was finished, so was I.

There should be a hell of a rotary gathering at my house this weekend.

John is going to try and get the Lawn Ornament running and the Lemon is getting a new steering rack, paint job, finishing of the AC/Generator install, brake job, and hopefully installation of the bridgeported engine.

Who wants some?

 

If it is on Saturday I have to work but I am totally free on Sunday for another rotary gathering at your place. Also, when do you plan on pulling your motor on your FD Scott?

I'll work on the FD someday. Maybe when the porting is done and the shortblock is assembled. I hate FD's.
