RKC meet for the Plano, Dallas area...

Rice Killers Club is now holding the biggest weekly car meet of North Texas at 190 (Bush Turnpike) and Coit behind the McDonalds, in front of Cafe Brazil. Everyone is welcome so long as you don't do anything stupid. No rev-ing or burning rubber. Expect 400-600 cars! This meet is attracting cars from as far as Oklahoma City, Shreveport, and Waco. Anything and everything goes. *EXCEPT RICERS*

RiceKillers is NOT an import hating organization. They just hate on riced out cars with ricer drivers. So oversized aluminum wings and underglow are frowned upon.

We have a couple of RX-7's that frequent this meet ranging entirely from 1st gens to 3rd gens. *Including my 3rd gen* And we want more...

I'll be following Eric The DFW group is very cool. They're the ones that helped me discover a near-authentic Philly cheesesteak joint close to the house.

How do you like BDC's tune? I'm sitting here with a rather large streetport and a Garrett turbo that has M-21 printed on it. I can't find out what kind of turbo that is but a friend says it looks like a T04E. It should be good enough for some decent power but Rotary Performance only tuned it for 330rwhp at 10psi. I'm hoping I can get more out of it while remaining a little safe.

I'm looking for about 380 maybe 400+rwhp on 93 octane pump gas. Do you think a BDC tune is worth it, can he get me to 400 or do I need to change the setup?

BTW when do you expect to complete your setup?

Well honestly it will take more than 10psi to get close to your power goals. 14psi is the suggested max for pump gas, even then that is the most you could run given that the quality of pump gas is never consistant. Some might say you could run more than 14psi but, really it is a ticking time bomb. At 14psi I could "guess" you should be in the 350-370rwhp area.

If you are wanting the 400rwhp pump gas set up, a larger turbo could be idea to achieve same power at less boost but, you might compromise boost threshold(spool time) and might make it "peaky" for the street.

Also, BDC's tuning is simple for the fact he knows what he is doing and knows the safe zones for a reliable street set up. You tell him what you want and he'll do that within reason pretty much.

BTW, my set up should come together in November hopefully.

Yep I can do it for ya Rotors R Cool or I can get it close. Really depends on the hardware. I normally don't like to run past 14lbs of boost on pump as on your garden variety 13B/T4 turbo combo. Figure high 300's to the wheels with it. Get in touch with me sometime.
