Need a reputable/affordable shop
Need a reputable/affordable shop
I thought I posted this earlier this week in another forum, but I couldn't find it, so here goes again...
I have a 3rd Gen (94) that needs some work. I am in Dallas and don't know who I should be taking my car to. It is leaking oil, and the last time I took it to the dealer I was told that the compression was almost down to 30% in the front rotor. It has 80K miles, so I am assuming I will need the core replaced. Does anyone know a good place that won't rip me off and will do good work? I don't know how much I should expect to pay, so any information there would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick

I think Gotham would get you in. www.gothamracing.com
One issue on cost is that the price of remanufactured motors has gone thru the roof. A few years back you could get a reman for like $1600-1800 now it's almost double that. I forget exactly but I was shocked when Steve told me what they were now.
