I'll try to make this meet. I finally got all my transmission bearings ordered and expect to have this thing together before Saturday. I've had issues with the transmission since I've owned the car...sloppy shifter, misaligned gates during shifting, difficulty getting into 1st gear, clutch hydraulics, etc.
All internals have been washed and scrubbed clean!
Hopefully this full trans rebuild helps smooth things out!

I had a buddys shop with power tools and a good parts washer at my disposal, but pretty much just followed the FSM and Haynes. We took our time and kept everything together and in order of removal...kind of like a big puzzle. I'll post up pics when I get them downloaded from my phone.

Well, I have another one that's supposedly good I could put in, so I guess I could just dive in and give it a whirl. I have an FB trans with the same issue, only worse.
Almost finished building my storage shed, so I should actually have space in the garage to work on stuff like this soon.

Found AJ, then several more turned up. Chilly, but no wind at least.
I enjoyed it despite the cold. Must remember to bring a bunch of hot chocolate or something next time...

No prob; come next month. It's always the first Saturday, and so far, it's the same place and time, though the place may move around eventually. Bring hot chocolate of coffee if it's cold...
