traffic is at least 10 times better in houston when compared to dfw. 6:30 yesterday I was doing 80 in my Rover comming out of down town, right before 610. at 8:00 at night anywhere in DFW your lucky if you can do 65.

what do you guys eat at the meets?

 

Yeah traffic down here is much better (except 45 south or I-10 west, both parking lots).

Depends on where the meets are.. some are at BBQ place, some are at Pizza place, some at a burrito place and others are even held at Hooters. We try to move the meetings a little to keep some variety. Drinking is optional but most of the guys don't drink it seems and the ones that do only drink a beer or few.

Houston's freeways are also increasingly riddled with video cameras which makes big caravans in town a tricky ordeal, might have even been how they caught you guys doing the Houston cannonball.

man, the trunk is one of my favorite things about the vert! I can leave the top down and windows open and not worry about someone jacking my laptop. I guess your vert is never going to be your daily though. And about the traffic situation, I live down 45 south (clear Lake) and can attest to that BUT I usually his way worse trying to get to the meets down 59 :-/ And no I don't think the cameras around Houston are there to catch us doing a cruise, I think people called in and complained to the police.

 

I think it is time for a houston cruise, think I might make the next meet.
little meet, quick cruise, get a bite to eat, then hit some of the houston night life.
