What did you do to the red FD? It looks really nice though. You should definitely take both of those cars out next weekend to the meet up!

If it's alright with Francisco, I may head out there tomorrow or on Tuesday depending upon what kind of work he needs done. I'll bring my machine and my wideband if anybody needs their car tuned.

thats my new rear bumper, LOL, thats was so cool, 90mph with a bumper sicking out from the sunroof, R.I.P. to one of the side skirts, easy fix with some fiberglass LOL

Brian, LMK when, i will try to start the car again today, i found that some wires from the computer are wrongly conected, Haltech faulty diagram, and try to start the baby again

i will conect DPW1 to the tach wire and run the fans with DPW2, DPW1 will go to the !h wire by itself, that way will send the signal to the coils and spark should rise from the dark LOL. Then i will ake the wire harness from the coils and re-do with more sofisticated conectors that i got from paynless wiring

No kidding.

Also there was no damage to my interior...although that poor side skirt wasn't too lucky.

Just a bit of sad news today. I took the FD to The Car Shop here in Killeen to have them change the differential oil and check out the wear on the clutches in the LSD. They called me back to tell me that it was installed wrong and that the whole thing needs to be rebuilt to work correctly again. Clutches are worn, backlash was set wrong, gears worn badly, and only god knows how much to replace it. Looks like I will be taking the FC on friday.

I wonder if they're even telling the truth on that... seems sorta skiddish unless you knew you felt there had to be a problem. I saw the KAAZ LSD new is about 950$.

It did make a whining noise while driving but the shop that originally installed it said that was because of the solid differential mounts and not the differential. They blamed it locking up while slowly cornering on being a clutch type LSD which the KAAZ website says does happen. Unfortunately it seems that 5000 miles of driving on it has torn it up pretty good. I am going to ask them to take pics or let me see the car tomorrow. I just hope the new one that goes in lasts longer than this one. I will see if they can warranty their work on this one since I highly doubt I will see anything from the original shop that installed it.

ask to see it before you believe it...lol

I have to agree with you, I have been lied to before by contractors from the hurricane and it's hard to trust anyone. I have to see it to believe it, hey you work hard for your money you have the right. I get mad when I hear that someone was lied to!!! I don't like people getting screwed over

Sorry to hear that man.

Just make sure those guys are being up front with you man before you start spending for repairs, that is going around allot!!! look you work hard for you money. I had allot of problems after the Hurricane with contractors, they lied to me; I lost $5,000 and that was with a damn contract with license numbers and everything. The mortgage had their information and they still got away, After then man I just don't know, I am up front with people and it pisses me off when people aren't up front with me.....lol

They are going to pull the pumpkin on Monday. I am going to have them call me when its out so I can come look at it. We will see what happens. Its possible that it was installed wrong though. Polyurethane bushings can only transmit so much vibration into the car.
