Yea, really is. It needs a rebuild right now. I have a blown coolant seal.

I've been at Fort Hood since Aug 11, but have only been at "fort hood" for about 2 months actual time on ground. I'll be around in a couple of months and have a few FDs. You can't go wrong with Rotary Performance.

 

I think after I build my FC gonna look into getting an FD. But you having a few of em, I;m jelly!

 

bumping this up. There are quite a few FD's around the local area in Killeen/Fort Hood. I see a VR FD sitting in a driveway every day driving to work. Another guy just sold his that lived about a mile down the road. I was driving home last week and saw what appeared to be a really nice white 99spec FD tucked away in the garage a couple of streets over from me. A few months ago Auto Depot had a fairly low mileage 93 VR R1 for sale that looked pretty clean. I know the guy I bought my wife's BMW from ended up having an FD as well. He lives in copperas cove. I've spotted a fairly stock SSM FD on base a couple of times as well.

I have a couple of my FD's down here now as of last August. Haven't been driving any.

I did spot a SSM FD at COTA when I was doing a BMWCCA HPDE there a couple of weeks ago(was not in my track car FD).

Any of you guys on the forum?

 

The SSM FD you saw at COTA was Lino (turboIIfc)

Saw the white FD again a couple of streets over. white FD with 99spec front bumper and wing with spirit r emblems. Looks really clean.

 

As Shmackpap said that was me in my FD at COTA. The FD is currently getting some things done to it but should be buttoned up and ready for full track attack soon.

 

I sold my FD a few months ago and am getting ready to move; I've come across a bunch of spare stuff lying around while cleaning out my garage. They're free to a good home; I'd rather seem some RX fans get some use out of them instead of just throwing them in the garbage.

I have two black sunvisors, the complete factory service manual printed out and hole punched into two binders, black center instrument cluster missing a few *****, and a black plastic cover that goes on top of the transmission tunnel cover for a standard. The plastic parts have some broken or cracked tabs here or there; I basically bought a bunch of interior pieces off the forum and pieced together all the best pieces for my own car, but these could still be used, both very serviceable.

If anyone's interested, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my address in Killeen.

No blue actually.. I had a black NSX prior to the FD you probably saw that one around. Here is a pic of the FD

 

Gotcha. I see a few FD's floating around Killeen from time to time. Seems to be more of a group in Austin though. I'm currently down to just 1 FD for the first time in probably 10 years. You will not see mine on the street though.

I've been tracking my M3 recently. The FD has been on the backburner. There are a lot of tracks around the area. Circuit of the Americas(COTA), TWS, MSR-Cresson, MSR-Houston, Harris Hill, Eagles Canyon, and a few others.

 

I'm still on the forum, sold my FD last year. Are you on CTX Tuners on FB?

 

Nah.. I met Dion(CTX tuners I think is his name) a few times but never joined up.. I don't have a Facebook or anything like that.. Waaayyy to much drama for me lol..what color was your FD?
