Blew an Apex seal, rebuild time!
Ah man sorry to hear it, damn cold weather. Let me know if you need parts, I've got a blown shortblock that I could possibly part out the good rotor and housing for you and whatever else you might need
Thanks guy I really appreciate that. We plan to finish pulling it out and opening it up next weekend, I will let you know.
Hi Marshall. I 'm not sure but I don't think that it was a fuel issue, injector cycle duty was pretty low.
Between me and some friends we are pulling it out and then it's on a pallet to El Paso. A friend here on the forum is rebuilding it. He does great work, you can check out some of it here in his album. His forum name is FDJRX7. After it's back together then to RP to get retuned. RP does great work and I always been very happy with them but right now I can't afford them.
Your always welcome to come by and check it out. I can always use a extra pair of young strong hands lol.

Hi, his name is Franciso and he's stationed at Ft. Bliss. We lived in the same neighborhood back in Puerto Rico. Small world isn't it.

Thanks Edgar, I plan to give you a call about the engine hoist.

Good deal, I can put that oil leak to rest forever.
Thanks Matt, now if I only had 1/3 of the power your has I would be set.
I don't have the brace on my engine, that has been to more track events, than all your cars combine together, is still dry under.
The key is using the black stuff sealant, cleaning the pan surface and sanding the matting face rough, making sure the pan surface is straight for a good fit, cleaning the threads on the housings and the bolts (new are better), torquing in a crisscross sequence for a flat fit.
That is what I did, not like a reputable builder, that handed me the Exxon Valdez part deux.
The leak went from the oil can to the pan and to the floor directly.
