OK, but you have to glue them all on by yourself!

My uncle while in the USAF just after WWII, completely decorated the inside of a NCO club bar with designs made out of bear bottle labels. I saw the picture and it was fantastic.

!!!!!!!! JUST IN !!!!! BREAKING NEWS !!!!!!!!

We are using the ENTIRE TRACK, and the best part we will not have any tire walls to slow you down on the straights, it is going to be all out madness in the back on the track, the cars that max out in the 100's will fall behind and the 140's cars will crash and burn in the corners.

I predict medical helicopter rides. It should be really fun, but I hope it doesn't get too crazy.

Chuck and I worked on the Lemon most of today...

Found out what was wrong with our clutch from the last race.

"Well - THERE'S YOUR PROBLEM!"

^^^ You will notice the springs are a little bit tweaked. Lets investigate shall we??

^^^ Chuck approves of clutch carnage.

^^^ WTF is up with the clucth disc???

^^^ That can't be good.

^^^ No this ISN'T a twin plate clutch.

^^^ No Bueno.

^^^ Check out the spring thickness on our old pressure plate (top) vs our new pressure plate. King Kong Gorilla Grip!!!

This is Chucks first attempt to get what is for all practical purposes an FD engine into our Lemon FC:

Check out the pimp mount! Unfortunately the engine sits a tad but high and the water neck on the FD will protrude through the hood but HEY - any excuse to get out a sawzall and hack on the Lemon is a GOOD ONE!

No that is not an ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate with a Four Puck Race Disc in the picture. These are NOT the Droids You are Looking For!!!

The engine is badass. Four port FD engine with high compression S5 NA rotors. Bridgeported non turbo. Should run faster than bad mexican food!

^^^ And?

We were assigned a residual factor on the car after the last race by Jay.

We sold the old engine off for parts.

I bought the clutch off the forums here to replace the grenaded one and the engine was put together by Chuck (labor performed by US does not count).

I mean hell - the engine is put together from used parts that came from Chucks garage and my living room.

It is very difficult to find a good used S4 or S5 engine so we slapped together a S5/S6 hybrid. I think Jay would appreciate our ingenuity and working on a broken shoestring budget. Besides, we aren't done with the car. I guarantee there will be lots more "interesting" things for the Lemons officials to look at than the engine. We are the Dangerous Banned Technology Winners from Crapheaps in Lousyana after all...

Slightly OT, but anyone reading this we have a team slot for sale, 1 car, 4 drivers, registration for 1200 bux.

our car may not be up for it so we're selling our spot, if you were on waiting list contact me mikespeed95 at gmail.com and we will let your team take our teams spot, and we've already got approval from nick to do this and you'll be paying lemons directly IIRC.

if you want it listen!

EMAIL ME
mikespeed95 at gmail.com

if you know anyone wanting to get in please let me know

Nice!

We just mounted a set of air horns facing rearward tonight in preparation for this!

We will call it the Anti-tailgating Suppression System

A.S.S. for short.
