SPOTTED! TEAM SENSORY ASSAULT'S NEW <STRIKE>WEAPONS VAN</STRIKE> LEMON SUPPORT VEHICLE!!!!

454 Big Block Powered!
Runs Good and Hauls *** (when it runs)
Doesn't stop worth a **** (brakes are toast)
Interior looks like a crack house

Chuck and I had the brilliant idea to drive this turd back from Conroe last night with the fuel line stuffed in a 5 gallon can of gas sitting next to the driver.

Anyone care to guess how far 5 gallons will get you? Answer: not even to the Beltway.

Anyhoo - found out when the RV runs out of gas it actually stops pretty well. Only problem is that its reluctant to get going again. No matter how much we tried, the tired starter wouldn't crank it back up.

A trip to the truckstop at 11PM netted us a makeshift tow strap. Cost me 30 bucks and I was pulled the remainder of the way in shame behind the F-250.

Look for this wagon at a Lemons Event near you!

^^^ No Problem Raceway is about 350 miles-ish away.

454 is a thirsty bugger. Probably gets about 5 <STRIKE>gallons to the mile</STRIKE> miles to the gallon.

Thats 70 gallons there... 70 gallons back = 140 gallons.

Gas is about $2.50 per gallon.

$350 for gas round trip?

Thats not counting the gas to run the generator to run the AC and stuff.

SO - if everyone pitches in a hundred bucks to gas up the Portable Ghetto - we're good!

Tomorrow - Sunday the 17th I'd like to do some work on the Lemon. The weather is supposed to be nice - well at least not rain.

We have a decently long list of things to do and only 4 more weekends to work before the race!!

Come get your part of racing history...

You can say YOU worked on the Lemon that won Gator-O-Rama 2010 at MSR!!!

Did some checking and most of the stuff in the motor home works, just changed out the 110V to 12V converter, but I had one laying around.

The Refrigerator needs a heating element, before I can test it out.

Sealed the roof, no more leaks.

Now i need to work on the Engine Wiring and Generator install.

Here are some inside pics
