{DFW} Thursday night meet
Trending Topics

Speaking of meets... I guess I need to start the thread for next month already.
Ya know, trying to keep up with you guys on our cruises with a stock turbo (even if it is an s5 turbo) is probably what wore her out. Brakes first, then turbo diagnosis. This is my first turbo car (and rotary too) and I would LOVE it if anyone ever wanted to volunteer to help diagnose the issue(s) I have of not being able to boost past 2psi. Stop laughing...I know you all are
Can prob make it to the next Saturday meet, but this weekend I'm changing pads and rotors. Crunching sounds from the rear wheels does not make me happy. Nor does the rapid drain in my bank account
Meh screw it, if I don't have a girlfriend, I'd much rather spend my money on the 7.

Oh and about sinking money into a 7 vs a girl.... at least you know the 7 will appreciate it regardless of what it is you get for it as well as doing whatever you want with it whenever.

Sounds similar to Jac-wee's issue... the wastegate got stuck open due to rust build up I believe she said.

Not with my busted up Protege! The 7 isn't rolling anywhere today.... its a nice loud grinding from the rear caliper/rotor. Bought pads a couple months ago, and new rotors last weekend. Its easier to spread the cost of maintenance over time so I don't take such a large hit all at once.
But I'll look into the wastegate operation.... sounds likely, but like Jacqui said...

My 7 isn't a looker..... although Ray wants to steal it now that he knows I have manual windows.

Git rid of that bit there and you're all good.

+1. I don't have school yet but it gives me something to do.
Only to have Matt run the table.

Prolly just wants to crush it.
